A traditional all-purpose knife used for woodworking and bamboo crafting.
Comes in a handle and scabbard made of Hoh (magnolia).
The blade is beveled only on one side, creating a thinner edge compared to a knife beveled on both sides,
which allows extremely fine cuts.
Also, only the beveled side requires the main sharpening so less time is required for maintenance.
Baishinshi is a brand produced by a blacksmithing family who has been forging carving knives
and chisels for more than 250 years.
Currently the 7th generation took over as "Baishinshi Kunimitsu", the family blacksmith name.
