NOUSAKU was founded in 1609 in Takaoka City in Toyama prefecture. Originally founded on producing Buddhist alters, tea sets and flower vases, they later moved on to produce tableware and homeware. Depite the simple appearance of some of their items, their manufacturing process requires multiple steps. The wind bells especially are made using advanced casting and finishing techniques by master craftsmen. It is ultimately the company's mission to preserve traditional handcrafts for future generations and preserve its significance in modern consumer society.
