Donabe (clay pot) specialist, Naoko Moore, will give you cooking demonstration of two one-pot rice dishes feature Iga-yaki Donabe Rice Cooker, KAMADO-SAN, as well as two side dishes. These are some of the most popular dishes from the cooking classes Naoko has hosted at her home.

Naoko Moore Profile
Naoko Moore runs donabe website and cooking blog, and she also gives donabe & Japanese cooking classes at home. Her company, toiro, is a US representative of Nagatani-en (“iga-mono” brand), which is an authentic Iga-yaki donabe and pottery producer, founded in 1832 in Iga, Japan. Naoko is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Program at California School of Culinary School, where she later came back to teach as a full-time wine instructor. A minimum of 6 students is required for a class to be held. If a class is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
All classes begin promptly. Try to get to the class, 10 minutes in advance.
Menus are subject to change.
Cancellations must be made 7 days before a class. Fees are refunded upon receiving written notice by e-mail only. Fees are non-refundable after that point.
