We are excited to have Keiko Matsuo, holistic therapist and founder of GOLDA, host a special “Dashi” tasting at Tortoise on Saturday, October 29th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Dashi is considered the foundation of many Japanese dishes, and is often found in soups, broths, sauces and dressings. The basic recipe consists of water, kombu (Japanese kelp) and katsuoboshi (fermented and smoked tuna).
But unlike other dashi, Dashi DREAM is a special blend of carefully handpicked ingredients from the sea, and also – tea fields of Yame city – a premier tea-growing city in Fukuoka, Japan.
The tea incorporated with Dashi DREAM adds a deeper umami flavor that is so smooth you can drink it alone.
