11/5 Sat. Futon demo and Zabuton (cushion) making

Have you stayed in a Ryokan (Japanese style Inn) and slept on a tatami mat? Didn’t you feel so comfortable to sleep on a thick mattress?
We are very excited to welcome Otafukuwata which is a provider of Futons and other cotton products in the Southern part of Japan, Fukuoka since 1875.

National Certified Bedding Production Technician, Ms. Sachie Sato who will provide the Futon (Japanese Mattress) demonstration & Zabuton (Japanese Cushion) Making Workshop.

The Futon making demonstration is free of charge and anybody is welcome. It will be from 11:00am – 12:30pm.

The Zabuton making workshop is $50 and limited 5 people. It will be from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. You can take the cushion you made home in the end!
